I love "Baby let me follow you down" because, like Oxford Town, it's a song that reinforces how great Dylan's music is when it is simple (just Bobby and a couple of instruments, you know?). When asked about hip-hop in a Newsweek interview, he said something to the effect of "less is more". Songs like these, in which Bob's music is understated but brilliant, embody that truth. I also love his unique version of Man of Constant Sorrow.

"I love this song too. To me, it's the purest of his recordings that give the flavor of what it must have been like at the Club Wha all those years ago. Dylan sounds so full and wonderful on this song. I play it all the time. While I love his early stuff like this, I am one of those fans that really likes MOST of his songs. I'm lookin' for those highlands too!" I agree; the highlands rock too! All the faces of Dylan are beautiful.
