You make an excellent point on this Peter! He's right up there with Ralph Waldo Emmerson in my opinion. With his especial way of using words to create images, he has covered the entire spectrum of the American experience.
While I understand the ideas behind the folk and folk-rock debate, I'm one of those few that really like them BOTH. I love Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger and see them as partially responsible for creating what we now know as Bob Dylan. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
