'sour' 'burnt out phase of the tour' 'bad mood' 'vile weather' 'weary' etc. BRING IT ON! a version of Idiot Wind tat is leaking battery acid through the speakers with every second. a whompingly loud metallic sound - al detuning and un-together chaos magic. listen to the moron in the audience yelling for Lay Lady Lay and understand why Bob went mad! listen to the version of Lay Lady Lady that Bob eventually 'sings'... and understand why you just don't f--k with him. love this album - play it a lot more than than stuff from Tour 74. As for Rolling Thunder - why are you even reading this - go and buy the very beautiful offical bootleg instead and understand why all the reviews of Hard Rain are right even though they're wrong!
